Best moment this week: Seeing Peanut with my parents!!!

Miss Anything? Same as usual food wise.

Movement: Feeling more and more every day

Food cravings: Sprite & Lemonade combined, Cream of Broccoli Soup

Anything making you queasy or sick: Coffee and smokers who sit next to me on the bus/metro

Symptoms: Growing pains

Looking forward to:  Feeling more movement and my 20 week appointment on Friday!

I made this for Rob for Valentine’s Day! I won’t be preggo for too many holidays so I wanted to do something special for this one since it is MY FAVORITE one!

My U/S appointment went so well on Friday. My parents got here really quickly so we had time to get lunch before. I was so nervous, as I always am, to see Peanut. We got there early and were greated by amazing staff, as usual. As soon as the tech came in, I am it known that I didn’t want to learn the gender if possible (I didn’t want to make her feel guilty if she slipped). She spent about 30 minutes measuring and helping us identify what is on the screen. At one point I said, “do you know what the gender is at this point?” she said, “oh yeah”. It was neat that she knew something we didn’t. My parents loved it and I was so happy they could be there with me.
I asked her to write the gender on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. For some reason, I find relief knowing it’s in there. I wanted to include the envelope on my board this week but didn’t like the one it was in. I managed enough will power to open it, take it out, unfold it ounce and put it in a card and then sealed it in an envelope w/o any desire to peak!

Peanut was very cooperative and let us get some great pictures! I saw 10 fingers and 10 ties, a well defined spine, and even got a thumbs up! At one point Peanut fell asleep face down with knees under the belly. It was so adorable!
