This month Parker has started imitating a few things. He now does mamama, dadada, nananana and babababa. When I pat his back after a bottle, he pats my shoulder. If I go aaaaa with my hand on my mouth, he does the same. He will play peak-a-boo with us and wave (to himself).
He still isn’t officially crawling but he is close and I am sure it will be any day now.
It was finally nice enough out that Rob mowed the lawn and P got to roll around in it for a little while. He kept trying to pick up the grass!

Visited the Milburn gang and met Ginney for the first time
Technically, P had his 9 month check up on April 10th so he was actually 10 months. My guess is he is around 23 pounds now. He has pretty much moved to all 12 month clothing and is in 18 month onesies with his fluffy butt.
So far he hasn’t had any negative reactions to his vaccinations. We are researching and looking into his 12 month vaccinations since I want to spread the out a little and make sure that MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) is given separate from Varicella (chickenpox). I just got an e-newletter from Parent’s Magazine.
He is eating like a champ and getting really good with his pincer grasp.
So far, I have learned…
… even though it’s time consuming to take monthly pictures, I will never regret it.
… they don’t stay small forever.
… to multitask on a whole other level. It really helps that P can eat some things on his own. I have been able to take some really nice, hot, long showers recently!
… that it is all over once they are mobile.
… that a quick cat nap at dinner is the perfect time for a little mommy break with a WW Icecream bar!
… that morning bottle is my FAVORITE part of the day.
… and that I love this little boy more than anything in the entire world!
