“I participated in this campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Cascade. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
There are two things I really dislike doing, washing my hair and washing dishes. I care enough about my appearance to wash my hair buuttttt, if no one is coming over, sometimes the dishes take the back seat. I need a product that allows me to not have to do an extensive pre-wash, removes stuck on food the first time and makes my dishes sparkly. That is why I was thrilled when I got a sample of the new Cascade Platinum Packs to review.
I was really impressed with the bold packaging the packs came in. There is something about silver that always gets my attention and looks so sophisticated. You can purchase Cascade Platinum Packs at a variety of retail stores near you. They offer bags of 14, 23 or 43 and in fresh or lemon burst scents.
These little packs can sure PACK some magic. Since Rob is away at training this week, it was the perfect opportunity to test them out. The last thing I am up for after a busy day with P is standing at the sink doing the dishes. I do have my limits though, and by Thursday it was time to clean up. I decided to give the Cascade Platinum Packs the ultimate Meyer test and used my mad packing skills to fill our dishwasher to the max.
I am thrilled to report that I was not disappointed in their performance. It removed stuck-on food well over the 24 hours mark without the need to do an extensive pre-wash to my dishes. They came out sparkly, which made me smile!
To make things a little fun, Cascade is hosting an amazing #MyPlatinum Instagram Contest to find the most sparkly dishes out there. Each week two contestants will be selected to receive a brand new Whirlpool dishwasher and a six month supply of Cascade. At the end of 4 weeks a grand prize winner will receive a $10,000 KitchenAid® Kitchen Makeover and a year supply of Cascade. Make sure to register and use both the #MyPlatinum hashtag and tag @MyCascade in your entry to be eligible to win!
I am slowly taking on more responsibility in the kitchen and have enjoyed not only focusing on my cooking skills but also presentation. A well presented yummy dinner is a nice treat for Rob when he comes home after a long day at work. Thank to Pinterest, these have been some of my favorite concoctions!
