Blinkbuggy: A Modern Day Babybook {Review}

“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Blinkbuggy. I received a promotional items to thank me for participating.” As always, all opinions are 100% my own and I do not recommend something I do not use myself.

It’s no secret that I love snapping photos of Parker any chance I can get. Since I usually have my iPhone on hand, it’s easy to capture moments throughout the day that can often be forgotten. I try to keep up with sharing them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and saving them to my computer as much as possible. Sometimes, it gets a little overwhelming though… Usually when that happens it just gets added to my never ending to-do list.

Emma Weisberg was a busy mother of two faced with the difficulty of keeping up with her families memories. She wanted to find a easier way to collect not only pictures but quotes, milestones and important memories in one place. The result, Blinkbuggy, a “modern day baby book”. With a user friendly platform that enables you to upload, categorize, share photos and memories of their precious memories Blinkbuggy is perfect for busy parents who want to share memories with family and friends.

Blinkbuggy is an adorable way to document your pregnancy, check out this adorable timeline of Sarah’s! You can also jump in any time and start documenting your little ones first milestones, first days of school, prom and family vacations. Don’t forget about your furbabies and those famous family reunions.

There are many features I love about this platform that I will talk about more below but my favorite part is that it is FREE! That’s right, you can create an account on your computer and download the mobile app for free. That’s not all that is free. From April 1st – April 30th Blinkbuggy is hosting a Spring Fling Giveaway. Anyone who registers will be entered to win one of three FREE 20 page Blinkbuggy Memory Books!

Downloading images from the computer is easy and only takes moments. You can label each with a title, description, and date. You can also keep your photos organized by creating different categories and adding tags for quick searches. If you are adding multiple photos at once, you can choose the collection and then edit each photo individually in the album. When downloading photos you can also choose the privacy setting. While I am a blogger and Parker makes a weekly appearance here, there are moments I like to keep private.

I was really impressed with the layout and how easy it is on the eyes. You can view your photos all together, by category or even hashtag. I may still be learning the ins and outs of hashtags on Twitter and Instagram but I know enough to know they can make life a lot easier when you are looking for something specific.

You can also download the mobile app to add and browse photos on the go. Once you have uploaded them you can share on Twitter, Facebook and even send them to friends and family via email. During deployments this is great because I can send them right over to Rob so his inbox is filled with pictures when he checks it. I know it makes the distance a little more manageable and hopefully puts a smile on his face during those rough moments.

Another great feature of Blinkbuggy is that you can spend time uploading everything and get those memories in print form at the same time. Memory books start at $45, gallery frames start at $67.50 and folded cards start at $22.50 (set of 12). You can read more details about the print options here. Each print project has prompts to walk you through all of the customization options that makes is very easy.

I decided to go back to the beginning and upload all of my favorite photos during my last pregnancy with Parker through now so I can FINALLY get his baby books done. Hard to believe we are only 2 months away from having a 2 year old! I can’t wait to share the final product.
