22 Weeks

Munchkin is the size of a papaya!

Weight gain: 7 pounds

Sleep: Much better actually. Took me a couple months to figure out how to get comfortable but now I am golden. There have been a few nights that I was able to sleep through the whole night! Since our HVAC is on the fritz we are trying to hold off on turning the air on as long as possible. We bought a window unit for Parker’s room which is what matters the most. I just sweat it out during the day and at night we have several fans going in our room.

Miss anything: Since I started out heavier this pregnancy I am feeling a little down. Even though I have only gained 7 pounds so far I am usually unhappy with the way I look. I am still pushing through my week photos and will do maternity photos again. While I may not love the way I look, it’s still important to document my pregnancy with baby girl 🙂

Movement:  Yep. Still very different than last time since I have an anterior placenta. I feel kicks really low and on the sides (usually the left). She was moving around like crazy during the anatomy scan which is weird because I couldn’t feel it.

Cravings: I am always craving something but can’t figure out what it is most of the time. I have had two Shaken Ice Tea Lemonades from Starbucks in the last week which is more than I usually have in a year. The mixture of green tea, lemonade and sure and sooooo good.

Best moment over the last 2 weeks: A lot has gone on in the last 2 weeks. Rob came home on the 14th. We jumped right in and had our anatomy scan Thursday and then a mini vacation to Ocean City Sunday – Wednesday. Then we were busy tackling my to-do list around the house before he went back to work on Tuesday. It has been great having him around and spending some much needed family time together. Hands down though, the best part was opening that piece of paper to find out we were having a girl. I also had a blast putting together our gender reveal video!

Looking forward to: I convinced Rob to come with me to the Big City Moms Biggest Baby Shower event this week. Even though it’s our second child I thought it would be fun and a great chance to get a little networking in. I am looking forward to finally meeting some brands I have been working with in person.
