Blogger Bash Recap
A few weeks ago my good friend Jen, over at All Four Love, and I had the chance to get away for the weekend and attend Blogger Bash in NYC. I was thrilled when we booked the trip because we got to spend some time together on a kids free weekend talking about nothing but blogging.
Blogger Bash made its debut this year in New York City at Location 5. These six women put together an amazing schedule and two day conference hosting 10 themed parties including the legendary Sweet Suite, sponsored by The Big Toy Book, Blogger Bash was the perfect opportunity to bring together some amazing bloggers and brands.
Rob did a great job finding Jen and I the perfect hotel within walking distance of Location 5. Tryp Wyndham was absolutely gorgeous with great customer service and best of all, LEAD Certified. We arrived and were able to park across the street and even checked in early. I loved being walking distance from the conference. It allowed Jen and I to split up when I needed to head back for a break. We also saved a ton of money because we were able to keep the car parked and didn’t have to pay for transportation.
Jen and I decided to attend the VIP sessions on Thursday which ended up being an excellent move. We got to hear from some very influential women like Debbie Mitchell and Lucy Wallace Eustice, learn the latest news from Disney Infinity and LeapFrog, and were showered with some amazing gifts.
Blogger Bash hosted a variety of events Thursday night and Friday including Baby Palooza, Mommy Tech, Social Suite and closed the night with Kidz Vuz. I loved seeing all of the latest and upcoming products from top brands like Joovy, Fisher-Price, Mega Bloks, Step2, LEGO, Faber-Castell, Tiggly, Crayola, and Land’s End.
I also have the chance to meet some new friends, enter some awesome giveaways and listen to some very influential icons like the one and only Anne Geddes.
One of the biggest perks of attending Sweet Suite during Blogger Bash was waiting for the box of goodies to show up at my doorstep after the conference. I couldn’t believe how generous all of the brands who contributed were. Parker has already have fun playing with his Tiggly Shapes, coloring with his new set of Faber-Castell crayons, and jamming out to the latest Kidz Bop album.
I definitely had a blast but have to admit it was nice to head home after a jam packed two days. My feet were screaming at me! You can check out some other amazing reviews over at A Grande Life’s Blogger Bash Recap Link Up!
