Fall Decor Favorites
I started my Fall decorating this year in 90 degree weather even though it was officially the Fall season. I wasn’t thrilled about it but certainly wasn’t going to wait until the weather cooled off to decorate for my absolute favorite season.
Each year my decorating tastes seem to change just a bit. This year it’s definitely jack-o-lanterns and having our whole living space lit up at night with orange lights.
I’ve been collecting Rae Dunn pottery for about 2 years now. My favorite of the bunch is definitely my Fall/Halloween mugs. They are hard to find, especially if you aren’t an active “hunter”, but you can get them of Mercari if you’re okay paying market value.
I love adding pops of color throughout the house using fake flowers. I do miss their natural fragrance but it’s nothing my diffuser can’t handle. I have found the best quality to be at Hobby Lobby.
This year I made some bat decals using my Silhouette and temporary vinyl. It’s a fun way to add decor to the walls without causing any permanent damage.
For flame-less candles I definitely recommend ones on a timer so you don’t have to worry about turning them on and off my favorites are these tea lights from Amazon and Mikasa pillar candles are my favorite.
This galvanized jack-o-lantern from Pottery Barn is a perfect addition to a farmhouse themed room. And the stacked pumpkins from Target are my kiddos favorites. Simple, festive, and fun.
I use the mini pumpkins from the Dollar Store to add festive color in small places around the house including my glass front kitchen cabinets and to style my shelves.
These DIY mats have been pretty popular this year. It’s a fairly simple and inexpensive DIY that anyone can do. I found my mat at ACE and used my Silhouette to make a stencil. If you don’t have a cutting machine you can use stencils or free hand the lettering.
