SAHM Style Board #6: LuLaRoe Randy & Lindsay

Style Board #6

LuLaRoe Lindsay | LuLaRoe Randy | Sneakers | Scarf | Watch | Jeans

It’s been awhile since I had a few minutes to put one of these together but I’ve had this one in my back pocket for awhile. It’s one of my favorite combinations and perfect for this season when Mother Nature can’t seem to make up her mind.

I am in LOVE with my FitBit Blaze and it’s a great tool for anyone looks to get healthier. You can link up with friends, challenge each other to daily showdowns, track your calories in, calories burned, and activity. Plus you can control the volume of your music and see text messages right on the display.

About Cherry Blossom Loves #cblsahmstyles

Since becoming a SAHM it’s been a real challenge to keep up with my appearance.  I didn’t realize until recently how much I had let myself go over the last 4 years. I showered maybe 3-4 times a week, never worried about what my hair looked like, and stopped using makeup all together. My wardrobe consisted of black yoga pants, black tank tops, and black shirts. I stopped caring about accessories, purses, and my jewelry started collecting dust. I never looked in the mirror and hated being in photos with the kids. It was bad and I was miserable.

After bringing it up in a few of my moms groups I found out it’s more common than I thought, more importantly I wasn’t alone. I decided enough was enough and I needed to stop making excuses. I started shopping around for fun clothes again, which lead me to participating in my first LuLaRoe Pop Up on Facebook. All the sudden my closet was full of color, fun patterns, and even cute dresses! From there I started investing in accessories and paid more attention to my appearance and how much time I spent taking care of myself each day.

I realized part of the problem is finding fun yet practical and reasonably priced clothing. I decided to take on the challenge and this mini series to share some of the stores, brands, and outfits that fit my needs as a stay at home mom.

SAHM Style Board #5: LuLaRoe Amelia & Lindsay

Style Board #5

Boots | LuLaRoe Amelia | LuLaRoe Lindsay | Necklace | Clutch

Now that Caity is getting more independent Rob and I are getting a chance to go out more. It may only be for a quick dinner but I enjoy every minute of it. One of my favorite parts is picking out an outfit and getting ready. Usually I have the sitter come early so I can take my time and actually enjoy it! I often miss having the excuse to look nice. Even when I am dressed up I need to be comfortable to really have a good time. This Amelia and Lindsay combo is just perfect. The Amelia accents the ladies and forgives around the tummy while the Lindsay just provides a little more camouflage.

I decided to look for accessories to this outfit online at one of my favorite stores, Kohls. All these accessories are on sale plus you can earn Kohls Cash for every $50. And if you spend $75 you get free shipping.

SAHM Style Series: #4 Paw Patrol Theme

Yes, I realize I am a complete dork. I absolutely LOVE going all our for my kids birthday parties. I look forward to it all year and usually start planning at least 6 months out. I search Pinterest to come up with as many DIY projects I can. And there is always a theme! For Parker’s 4th birthday I wanted to do something fun but still true to him. Like most little boys (and girls) his age, he is obsessed with Paw Patrol. It’s such a fun theme with tons of potential.

Recently I started seeing a new print, paw prints, going around the LuLaRoe groups. While I am not much of a unicorn person when it comes to prints I instantly knew I wanted to have a pair for his party. I was giddy last night when I managed to score a pair for myself! Since his party is in the summer I will need to alter them into capri pants but they will still look awesome!

Style Board #6

Earings | Leather Cuff Watch

I found a plan baseball t-shirt and will use my handy Cricut to do an iron on of all the Paw Patrol Pups. While the food, decorations, and activities will be a blast I secretly can’t wait to show off this outfit!

SAHM Style #3: LuLaRoe Leggings #cblsahmstyle

I am so behind on my post to-do list but I have another #cblsahmstyle board to share with you guys! I find putting these together very therapeutic in the evenings and a great way to wind down. Especially when I am shopping pop ups for new items. This week is a mix between super comfortable with a pair of LuLaRoe leggings and stylish accessories.

Style Board #3

Sweater | Top | Teething Necklace | Premier Designs Jasmine Ring | Premier Designs It’s A Wrap Bracelet | Flats

If you are in the for day you can always switch out the business casual top with a tank. I tend to not wear my wedding ring around the house so the Jasmine Ring is a great stand in. I also love wearing open front cardigans around the house for easy access nursing and to take it on and off depending on the task I am trying to complete. Although it’s still boot weather here in Canada I am anxiously waiting for spring when I can bring out all my flats. I though these from braps.ca were adorable and looked super comfortable.

SAHM Style Series: #2 LuLaRoe Cassie

Style Board #2

Today’s outfit is a little dressier but every SAHM should have 1 or 2 of those in their closet. It’s a nice go to for date nights or when you actually get the afternoon away from the kids to meet up with a girlfriend for drinks. I know, I know…. That happens like never. But you never know, right!

I don’t have this outfit in my closet yet but I am working on it. I love the Cassie skirt which is very stretchy and compliments any body type. The flowing top conceals some of that mommy pouch while still looking sophisticated. I’m all about small heels anymore so ankle boots are a good way to add some height without the risk of tripping on the Lego land mines as you make your way to the door. Since there is already a beautiful neckline to the shirt I focused on earrings and a nice cuff bracelet to finish the outfit.
