Some of my fondest childhood memories are crafting with my Mom. It’s no wonder I ended up going to school for Art Therapy! You can usually find me digging through a closet, playing around with a new font, visiting our local thrift store, or making a mess in the kitchen. I have a healthy obsession for Pinterest and couldn’t imagine what life was like before it. I am so excited to be able to share my love & passion for crafting, organizing and baking here with all of you! I hope you can find a little inspiration and the right guidance to find your crafty side!
My craft blog was originally called, Designs By MCM, after my Etsy Shop. Over the years, my art space has grown and when we moved into our new home in October of 2012, I actually got my very own art room. It happens to be the top floor of our house so I thought it would be appropriate to name my blog after it. In July of 2014 I decided to merge My Crafting Attic with my family blog, Cherry Blossom Love. My original goal was to keep everything craft and design related over at My Crafting Attic and keep everything family related at Cherry Blossom Love. Since so many projects crossed over and my time was strained attending to two different blogs, I decided to merge them together here at Cherry Blossom Love.
There is nothing more flattering than being able to show my craftiness and help inspire others! Here are some of my projects that were featured outside of My Crafting Attic.
DIY Weddings Magazine (.com) is a great source for DIY brides on a budget. I was so excited when they featured four of the DIY projects from our Metro Cherry Blossom wedding!
To help organize our cloth diaper stash I made a Shared Changing Station in the kids/guest bathroom. I can’t believe how many shares it has gotten on Pinterest and that it was also featured on the Thirsties and Lil Bums websites.
