Nuby Travel Set Review

I quickly learned that once Parker started eating table food it was really important to add travel silverware to our diaper bag. While he could manage with normal silverware in a pinch, it’s much easier to have something his own size. They Nuby Travel Set is the perfect solution for on-the-go families.

The set comes with 4 forks and 4 spoons that fit in a carrying case for about $6 and can be purchased at Amazon, buybabydirectcookieskidsidealbabyRoss Dress for Less, and TJ Maxx.

Each have small handles and wide bases, perfect for small toddler hands and hungry bellies.
My favorite part is the multipurpose carrying case they come in. It keeps the utensils sanitized, diaper bag clean and can even serve as a snack holder in a pinch.

Nûby™ Tear-Free Rinse Pail

Parker has always loved bath time which has made our nighttime routine pretty smooth. He enjoys playing in the water with his toys and giggles when I wash his belly. The hard part is always getting his hair wet. He didn’t really enjoy when water would run into his ears and down his face. We were using a small cup I had lying around until I found the Nûby™ Tear-Free Rinse Pail and decided to give it a try.

The Tear-Free Rinse Pail is another great Nûby™ product designed to make bath time easier and more enjoyable for you and your little one. It features a comfortable grip for mom, a deep, slender base for easy filling in shallow water and a unique tear-free edge. The tear-free edge is soft and contoured so it can be gently placed against your baby’s skin to help prevent water from running into your baby’s eyes while rinsing their hair.

The Nûby™ Tear-Free Rinse Pail did take a little getting use to. I think by the third bath I really had it down pat and Parker was more use to it and knew to tilt his head back. You have to really push it against their head to prevent leaking. Since the top has a soft edge it doesn’t hurt, just takes a little bit to get use to.

What I really like about this pail is that it makes it easy to wash Parker’s hair in the sink. In this particular situation, he decided to wear his breakfast plate of pancakes and syrup on his head like a hat. We were visiting my Grandmother for Easter dinner later that day and there was NO WAY I could show up with Parker looking like that. We didn’t have time for a full bath so we just washed his hair in the sink. The Nûby™ Tear-Free Rinse Pail made it much easier and quicker to get his hair wet and the soap out.

Nuby No-Spill™ Insulated Flip-it™ Review

One thing that multiple mothers told me before I had Parker was to buy a few different kinds of sippy cups. Each one is a little different and kids can be picky. We started out testing a few but soon found Nuby to be our favorite. We have found the perfect cup for each stage of Parker’s progression so far.

Nuby No Spill Cup | Nuby Easy Gripper | Nuby Tip Hard Straw Cup | Nuby No-Spill Cup with Flexi Straw

Lately, Parker wakes up around 6:30-7 so I get him some milk and we putz around upstairs till breakfast around 8. This allows me to get ready, put away clothes, clean the bathrooms etc… Parker usually spends that time multitasking between undoing everything I pick up, sipping on his milk and playing with some of his actual toys 🙂 The Nuby No-Spill™ Insulated Flip-it™ was perfect for the morning keeping his milk cool and IN his cup instead of spilled on the floor!

I was pretty impressed with how many features this little cup can pack. It works perfectly for our morning routine but also on the go and long car trips.

– two-in-one design keeps liquid fresh, cool and prevents “sweating” on the furniture

– soft sipper straw is gentle on your little ones tender gums

– the easy-to-use flip top cap keeps the straw sanitary and clean

– liquid only moves through the straw when your little one sips on it, preventing unwanted spills

– designed to dispense a variety of liquids

– holds 9oz of liquid

Nûby™ Booster Seat Review & Giveaway

With Rob’s work schedule and deployments Parker and I have many meals on our own. I don’t make breakfast or lunch ahead of time so I would usually cart Parker’s highchair into the kitchen. It was a little annoying to move it back and forth not to mention the space it took up in the kitchen.

We have been using the Nûby™ Booster Seat for about 2 months now I am so excited to share our review of it. It certainly is one of my favorite products right now and use it daily. We have a breakfast bar in the kitchen so we keep the booster there. Parker and I eat breakfast and lunch there most days.

What I love most is that I can get meals ready, clean up the kitchen and do dishes while Parker eats and watches. Sometimes he also gets a little work done 😉

When it comes to high chairs and booster seats I always first look at the safety features. Even though the Nûby™ Booster Seat is compact, it still packs in all of the safety features that matter.

The sturdy base is small enough to fit on most chairs, that we have tried, yet wide enough to balance nicely.

There are two safety straps to keep the booster seat secure on the chair. One wraps around the back and the other underneath. Both straps are rather long to accommodate different size chairs. When used properly, the booster is extremely secure and stable on a chair.

Belts are a must for highchairs in this house. So many things can go wrong in a matter of seconds. The crotch belt has a loop that secures through the waste belt providing a 3-point harness.

At his 18 month check up Parker weighed in at a whopping 30 pounds 3 ounces so I am very happy that the Nûby™ Booster Seat can safely hold children up to 65 lbs. We’ll be able to use it for quite awhile.

The Nûby™ Booster Seat is available in a variety of colors on Amazon for $22.99.
