Your question: When you finish a ball of yarn and join a new one what will you do to the ends?

How do you end one ball of yarn and start another?

Knit three stitches with the joined yarns. Let go of the old yarn, pick up the new yarn and continue knitting with the new yarn. When you’ve finished your project, weave in the old and new yarn strands. And that’s two ways to join a new ball of yarn to your knitting!

How do you find the end of a yarn skein?

Go to the opposite end of the ball from which that outside end was tucked, and insert the thumb and index finger of each hand into either side of the skein, compressing the skein between your fingers until they meet. Feel for the very center. Pull this out and the end should be with it.
