Can you use a sewing machine on knitting?
If you’re not a fan of hand sewing, you can also use a sewing machine to sew your knits. A sewing machine isn’t recommended for delicate knits like lace-weight sweaters. But if your knitting can stand up to some strong stitching, a sewing machine is a fast way to attach knits to fabric.
Do I need a serger to sew knits?
This could be attributed to the misguided notion that sewing knits requires a serger. This is absolutely false! Though a serger makes the assembly of knit garments much faster, they are a costly addition to your sewing arsenal and are not imperative.
