Is embroidery or cross stitch easier?

Embroidery is a bit easier compared to a cross-stitch. It is because it allows you to be more flexible and creative in doing your design. It allows you to use a variety of fabrics and techniques in completing your fabric art. Cross-stitch is less fluid and more controlled which makes it a bit difficult.

Can guys do embroidery?

The art of hand embroidery is for men, women, young and old. It can appeal to so many people for different reasons. Some of our students learn embroidery as a therapeutic hobby, whilst others are very much looking to enhance their skills for their career, in particular, with the resurgence of embroidery in fashion.

Can you embroider the bill of a hat?

This means that we are unable to embroider on the bill of the hat, as the bill needs to be embroidered before the hat is manufactured. Generally speaking we can’t embroider above the eyelets on the top of the hat crown, to the direct left of snapback style hats, and closer than 1/2″ to the bill of the hat.

If an embroidery design has 6000 stitches, most all commercial machines will complete the job in under 10 minutes. The average embroidery logo is about 4000-7000 stitches. Most machines run around 600-750 SPM on your average design.
