The cotton and cotton/linen blends below are well suited to the frequent use and washing that dishcloths, washcloths, and other kitchen accessories go through. These yarns keep their structure when wet and are great canvases to show off texture patterns like waffle weave and basketweave.
Can you use acrylic yarn for washcloths?
Cotton yarn is the best for dishcloths, but you’ll want to make sure it’s absorbent, too. You don’t want a dishcloth that seems to only shed water around (I’m talking to you acrylic) as opposed to absorbing and holding it.
